Where will the CONGRESS BE LOCATED?

The Congress is being held at the Adelaide Convention Centre.

The Congress will be held at the recently revamped Adelaide Convention Centre. This venue is positioned at the heart of Adelaide’s Riverbank Precinct which is currently in the midst of a multi-billion-dollar rejuvenation.

The main sessions for the Doctors Program will be held in Halls C/D and the Auxiliary Sessions will be held in Hall E (Friday and Saturday only).

WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?

The Adelaide Convention Centre has two car parks to the general public.

The North Terrace Car Park and The Riverbank Car Park. Costs and maps are located in the link below.

Where will the registration desk be?

The Registration Desk will be located in the Main Foyer F and will be open at the following times.

 

Wednesday 13 March 2024        0800-1700

Thursday 14 March 2024           0730-1900

Friday 15 March 2024                 0700-1700

Saturday 16 March 2024            0800-1630

HOW DO I ACCESS MY NAME BADGE?

Each congress delegate will receive a name badge on registration.  The badge will be your official pass and must be worn to gain entry to all sessions, lunch and morning and afternoon teas and happy hours.  Prior to arriving at the venue you will receive an email with a QR code to check in to the Name Badge Kiosk.  If you forget your QR, you may enter your name to print your badge.  Your name badge will outline the congress programmed sessions and social events that you have registered to attend.

Is The ADELAIDE CONVENTION CENTRE AN ACCESSIBLE VENUE?

Adelaide Convention Centre is an accessible venue to all visitors. We offer lift and escalator access to all three levels, including entry from North Terrace and the Adelaide Riverbank Promenade.

You can request assistance from our Floor Ambassadors, organised prior to your event for convenience or upon arrival. We’re committed to creating an experience everyone can enjoy, with visits that are thoughtfully planned, easy to navigate and convenient. Further information can be found here.

WHERE WILL THE CATERING BE LOCATED AND WHAT IF I HAVE A SPECIAL DIET?

Lunches, Morning and Afternoon Teas

These are included in the registration fees for all delegates and will be served in the exhibition area.  Please take the time to visit the industry displays during the breaks, as the companies represented generously support the congress.  Please participate in the Exhibitor Passport in the app to win some great prizes.

 The Adelaide Convention Centre has been notified of delegates’ special dietary requirements.  If you have a special diet, please make yourself known to a member of the waiting staff or visit the special diet area.

WHERE WILL THE POSTERS BE LOCATED?

Posters will be on display in the Exhibition Hall. Posters must be on displayed on the allocated poster board by morning tea on Thursday and taken down by the end of lunch on Saturday.  The poster number can be found by checking the poster listing in the Handbook or on the congress app.

WILL THERE BE WIFI ACCESS?

Yes, you will receive a code at the time of the Congress.

What is the dress code for the Congress and various functions?

The dress code for the Congress is neat business casual. The 80’s Party Night is 80’s or Let’s Get Physical themed. The Gala Dinner is a black tie/James Bond themed event.
